The two charts show the changing of the world population from different regions between the year 1900 and 2000. The two charts contain a hundred percent of the world’s population.
In 1900, Asia had the biggest percent in the proportion of the world population. Asia was 60%. 25% was the second biggest percentage which was Europe. North America was 5% whereas Africa was less than North America in one percentage. Latin America and other region are 3% of the world population.
In the year 2000 there was a big change from the year 1900. Asia is still the biggest percentage but it decreased 6 percent from the year 1900. Europe also decreased 11 percent but it is still in the second place. North America made no changes among one century. Africa increased 6 percent which is a good thing. Latin America jumped 5 percent whereas other regions stayed the same. Middle East and North Africa joined the regions with 8 percent.
